Make a Difference Day is held on the fourth Saturday in October every year, and it’s one of the largest annual single-days of service nationwide. Folks of all ages, religious backgrounds, and races come out and help make a difference in their communities through acts of service.
This year, come join Mountains Restoration Trust as we work to make a difference in the streams of Agoura Hills!! We’ll be hosting a Crayfish Removal Open House as we try to make a difference for the aquatic communities in the Santa Monica Mountains. We’ll be working in Medea Creek out in Agoura Hills.
Registration for this event is FREE, but required! Volunteers under the age of 18 will need to have the Parent/Guardian Consent Form signed to participate. Just be sure you turn it in to our staff on the day of the event!
Parking for the event: MRT Staff will have parking passes on hand for volunteers!
Have any questions? You can email our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@treepeoplelandtrust.org, or give us a call at (818)591-1701. We’re in the office Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm.
