We are helping to return this previously ranched land back to the critical habitat it was by planting protected species native trees and understory species. The goal of the project is to plant 5,000 native plants by the end of 2016. The native species we are planting in the riparian flood plain, alongside Potrero Creek, includes Coast Live Oak, Valley Oak, Western Sycamore, and numerous shrubs, perennials and grasses.
